Say goodbye to lost armor and move on.

I posted on the bug forum that I had lost a very valuable belt when the patch was done. I also posted a ticket on the game with the GM. Asking if I was going to get my gold back.

I was thanked for telling them about the problem, but no mention was made of restoring my item or my gold.

I know two other people who report lost items. (Equipped then gone.....) If I look at my WOW as a small sample, I know about 10 players real well. Of those 10....two have also had items lost. That means that nearly 1/3 of the people in my sample lost items. If that is any indication, then with 12 million accounts, that means the potential is there for 4 million accounts to have lost items. If each account has multiple characters, that could mean 8 to 30 million lost items. How could Blizzard even begin to identify and replace these items?

As I reflect on the sheer magnitude of the potential loss, I suspect that Blizzard is not going to address it, and we can all kiss our items goodbye.

Still I can't help wondering what I am going to lose when 4.04 comes out. I shudder to think. I can only hope that maybe my characters will still have a weapon and a pair of pants.

(Except for the costly bug, I do like the new WOW.)

Heya Angie,

I am a bit confused as to your request versus the petition that was submitted 6 days ago. The petition that was submitted 6 days ago is asking for 6 gold money repair to your AH items. I do not see one that states a belt missing or any item request for restoration. Can you provide the following?

The name of the item that was lost?
Date you last had it?
When did you realize it was missing?
When you submitted a petition regarding this, from what character and realm, please?

Please submit a petition with this information, a GM can help to investigate what happen to the belt you are referring too.
