Character cannot transfer arena team captain

I just tried to transfer my character and it says im an arena team captain.
well i was before 4.0 and the end of this season.

can someone help me as i am getting this message when i try to transfer:
This character cannot be transferred while it holds arena team captain status. You must transfer arena team leadership or disband the arena team before proceeding.
