Looks like they changed the email as well.

Let's get this buttoned up for you for the time being so they can't come back. I strongly suspect your email may be compromised as well. You'll want to make certain of both your system security - and that of your email account.

Right now, security is the main concern so they can't get back in. If they can....they WILL be back, that is very likely.

This sticky may be useful.

You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will help keep them out of your WoW account.

well i got my battle.net account back, but when i try to log into wow it say my account has been permanently disabled.

Indeed, I asked it be locked so they couldn't return. You need to make certain of your system and email security first.

ok well i opened a new email account and changed my battle.net to it and changed the password. i ran a couple virus/malware scans on my pc and i am praying that is enough to keep it from happening again.

Changing the email is indeed a good step. You didn't find the source of this though? Looks like this also happened not that long ago. I'm afraid you may still have some unidentified malware on your system.

What are you scanning with - and are you scanning with the launcher open and a bit of nonsense typed into the password fields?

well the real problem is blizzard primarily blames us for issues they have let get out of control within their game, i was quoted by a gm, that i had opened 586 tickets, all of these tickets , however, were reporting hacked accounts using hacks. most times i get an auto response and blizzard sweeps it to someone else, in the meantime, the damage done by these gold sellers is enormous, they control the economy of wow on every realm and little to nothing has been done about it. No matter what blizzard says about how much they care about account security, its clear they really dont, players who buy gold dont ruin the game, blizzard doing nothing to keep them out of the game does, GMs in game would help, like they used to be.... i miss my friends who have quit because of it

This is entirely false, Whoopies.

We do an ENORMOUS amount of work to combat this. The fact that it exists is a testimonial to how tenacious they are, but then they have a multi-BILLION dollar industry trafficking in illicit virtual goods.
