It's at 2 days, 4 hours, Celista, but your particular question really isn't going to have a good answer until you are actually done. This isn't something we can really do in preparation, but it may be something we could do once things are in place.

A character that arrives at a new destination where a name is already taken is flagged for a name change. Now, you may need to wait at that point, or you could pick another name and then petition. We can usually work something out - especially with petition times far longer than we'd like to see.

A lot will depend on how long from now this all takes place. It's possible that petition times could decrease, but that really is dependent on volume. It's not been very long ago at all they were measured in minutes, not hours or days. We are doing our best to get to everyone just as quickly as possible.
