Can my son make an account using my CDs?

As the topic asks.
My son would like to start an account of his own. Do I have to buy a whole new set of CDs (vanilla, BC and wrath) for him? Or can he use mine?
Would his account count towards the recruit-a-friend bonuses?

Any help would be appreciated.

For installation purposes only, your disks can be used. In fact, to save quite a bit of time, you can install vanilla WoW, Burning Crusade, and the Wrath of the Lich King game clients all from the Lich King disk. You will only need to patch from there. You will need to purchase separate authentication keys for the account though.

Any account you recruit through the Recruit-A-Friend program will count towards the Recruit-A-Friend bonuses, Meline. This includes family, friends, or even yourself! Please take the time to review the FAQ below for more information.

One last thing to consider: If you son is under the age of 18 be sure to create the Battle.net account in your name as his parent. You would need a separate email address in order to do so, unless you planned on linking the newly created World of Warcraft account to your Battle.net account.
