Q u o t e:
Do I have to buy a whole new set of CDs (vanilla, BC and wrath) for him? Or can he use mine?
For installation purposes
only, your disks can be used. In fact, to save quite a bit of time, you can install vanilla WoW, Burning Crusade, and the Wrath of the Lich King game clients all from the Lich King disk. You will only need to patch from there. You will need to purchase separate authentication keys for the account though.
Q u o t e:

You would need a separate email address in order to do so, unless you planned on linking the newly created World of Warcraft account to your Battle.net account.
