thanks for the couple years of fun in this game but the most recent patch has me so frustrated i just cant do it anymore. i am not the smartest person and to have my toon change as drastically as it did just takes all the enjoyment out of the game. i spent quite a bit of time reading, playing, and asking others questions on how and why, now i feel like its starting all over again. i just dont have the energy to relearn all of it again. i also did not sign up to be a beta tester and currently that is what i feel like with as many bugs that the patch has introduced. i have had issues with my fps since this new patch and this is even after i upgraded my pc with more memory and better sound and video cards. i would have thought making my pc better would have made my gaming better but it hasnt, i have to turn down most graphic and sound settings lower than i ever had then before the patch and with less of a pc. so less than an hour ago i cancelled my account. i did get an email telling me i have so many days left so i guess that will give me time to say goodbye to the friends i have made and get some stuff sold so i can give any gold to the friendly guild i was a part of. again thanks blizzard for the fun i had and best wishes for your future. maybe in the future i might give the game a try again but right now i just dont get it.

I believe what Scüba is trying to say is that this really isn't the best venue for this feedback. While we do value every player's voice, the best way to have that voice heard is to direct it to the appropriate place. In this case, that would be the cancellation box upon canceling your account.

Any player with an account in good standing is able to post here, Geasa, and we encourage our regulars to post actively and constructively. Many of them can often provide information much more swiftly than those of us who moderate the forums, and their information is sometimes even better than what we may be able to provide.

Q u o t e:
I had read off a Bliz posting somewhere (off the account cancellation site itself? I am not sure now) that the account characters are never deleted by Bliz even when you have not played in some time. I hope this remains correct.

Absolutely, Vestah. So long as you don't delete the characters yourself, they should remain preserved. >^.^<

hmm, i've never really heard of a company that used other customer's as a means of customer service. seems odd since they could possibly get false information from someone who isn't trained for the job, which could come back on the company. i went ahead and saved this page and printed in case something ever happens with my own account and i receive wrong information, that way i know it's still blizzards fault since that's what you're telling me.

If wrong information is posted, Gaesa, we are here to correct that. We are here to moderate, so while we may not always be able to reply to every thread, we will do our best to address everything we are able to come across.

Those who post here are not our representatives per say, but we encourage knowledgeable players to help one another out. I think you may misunderstand the purpose of this forum, and you may want to take a quick glance over our welcome thread to get a better idea of what services we provide here.

Welcome to the Customer Service Forum!
