Does WotLK disk needed?

i Recently bought WotLK but the disk installation keeps canceling. I do have the original WOW, and BC. Do i need to install WotLK to get the Upgrade? Or do i just need to input the code to upgrade my account? When i look at the online upgrade is just says already have the code click here. So i dont know what to do. Any feed back would be great!

So if you have logged on recently, then you are running on the 4.0.1 game client version, even if you are only at the BC level and cannot access any of the WotLK content.

In your case, you shouldn't need to install anything. Just log into your account on Battle.net and upgrade your Account using your WotLK license keys.

Then, next time you log in, you should have access to WotLK content.

Exit the game completely before you upgrade the account. Once the account is upgraded, try to log back into the game. If you do not have the client installed you will receive a notification indicating such.
