Having a great experience with 4.0.1

I'd like to share with you my recent experiences with this patch.

I logged on and started queuing for Headless Horseman, my main is a mage (we'll get to that later), so I decided to start collecting Candy Buckets around the world. During my flights, I alt+tabbed to browse the web and the majority of times I tabbed back to find myself disconnected from the server.

Luckily, I managed to remain in the the queue and eventually it popped. For some reason, the SM loading screen popped up but the bar did not begin to fill for 2 minutes. I alt+F4'd and logged back in, safely in SM. At that point, we were ready to begin the Headless Horseman so I clicked the pumpkin. Due to the cogwheel bug, I lagged out and was disconnected. After logging in again, we killed HH and received the reward, which wasn't really a reward because it "had no loot". Great, time well wasted.

After this, I decided to pursue the GNERD rage achievement. I joined a pug BG group, joined the random BG queue and AV quickly popped. However, the loading screen once again refused to fill the bar at all, so I was again forced to alt+F4. After logging back in again, I found myself with the deserter debuff. This was quite aggravating. However, I decided to continue collecting candy buckets although I was unable to alt+tab during my flights for fear of being disconnected. The pug BG group kicked me because I did not participate in the previous BG, so I joined the queue by myself. After a couple minutes, WSG popped. Thankfully, the loading screen worked and I started to buff the other raid members. As buffs were going out, a warlock cast his healthstone ritual and by chance the summoning circle landed itself under my cursor. This lagged me out, forced me to relog with yet another deserter debuff.

This all took place on my mage Brandox

I asked a friend to post this message because my account was banned from the forums some time ago after being hacked. I have an authenticator on my account, and the person trying to steal my account was unable to access the characters. However, since the forums do not require or ask for an authenticator, that person came here and said things which violated the TOS, causing my account to be forum banned. My e-mails concerning this matter, I can only assume, have been ignored as I have not received any replies on the matter.

Heya Brandox,

I understand how frustrating this may be when trying to play the game and you get disconnected while your trying to get certain things done. We are currently aware of these issues and we also have some work around for some here: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=27188062708&sid=1

If you are unable to locate a work around, then you may just find it in the known issues here: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=27188060299&sid=1

We are trying our best to resolve these issues.

As for the banned forum account, you will need to dispute that here [email protected].
