Military Folk, Cata Pre-Download and CE

I have some questions:

For those of us Military folk who'll be downloading the Cata xpac because we're stationed overseas (seriously, THANKS SO MUCH for offering that!!!)...if we are also ordering the Collector's Edition hardcopy (which will take FOREVER and a day to get to us with holiday mail traffic that starts Thanksgiving) will we be able to later upgrade our standard edition that we downloaded on day-of release for our accounts to the CE to get the in game pet, or how would that work? Would we have to Skype the seemingly NEVER not busy Customer Support phone number to get it changed? Or will you force us to wait the few weeks the CE hardcopy will take to arrive in the mail unable to enjoy the game?

In the days of yore it would require a call to Billing & Account Services to upgrade an account from standard to Collector’s Edition, Walmarks. That is no longer the case. If you were to have Wrath of the Lich King standard account currently and a Collector’s Edition came into your possession, you would be able to use the following link to upgrade your account: (https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/upgrade-account.html).

The same should be true with Cataclysm.
