This has me worried

So got this in my e-mail today I would say its legit due to it saying to ignore it if I didnt make the request to add the Authenticater but now they have my e-mail so can they just run a password hack or something to that event

or are they just sending random rewuests to blizz sorta like a e-mail spammer?

We do send confirmation mails now when an authenticator is added. That doesn't mean this couldn't be a phish. Sometimes they will use 'real' emails with doctored/redirected links.

If someone IS trying to add an authenticator, they've got entirely too much information. Check the internal routing headers to see first if that actually came from Blizzard. If it's a phish, ignore it. If it IS from us then someone is at least attempting to mess with your account and I'd proceed as though you've been compromised - changing email passwords, acct passwords, scanning, etc.

If they are actually successful in adding an authenticator - they ARE in your email.
