me and two mates done a recruit a friend 3 days ago, withing 2 hours of activating the trial we paid for the digital upgrade to full version. its now been 3 days and i still have all the restrictions minus the level cap, then to make it even worse, i got bored at 58 and went out and bought a retail copy of BC. then I found out i cannot even upgrade my account yet (because its still classified as a trial). so i put the BC trial on so i can get to 60 quicker, then I've called blizzard just then and they said well sorry it was within our 72 hour limit (by a few hours apparently) but since you have put the BC trial aswell that's gonna knock you back another 72 hours

{Removed]then to make it worse they said that they can remove the BC free trial to shorten my time. so I said OK. He has instantly removed BC trial, but now when i log it I get all these fatal errors about maps and stuff not loading and wow just closes. You would think that your char would be moved out of BC or something so now I cannot even log in FFS.

can a mod help me out, so very very frustrating.

Based on what I can see, Smksomegreen, your account upgrade was done less than 72 hours ago. On the 25th, to be specific. Due to security concerns all online upgrades are subject to approval and unfortunately we cannot expedite the process.

Should you still see these restrictions after 72 hours, feel free to contact our Billing and Account services team directly.

Q u o t e:
security reasons require 3 days, pretty ridiculous but ok, it is the 28th here so this is my 3rd day i have logged in. I mean "can take up to 72 hours" should be re-phrased to "it will take 72 hours" .
No, it does not take three days. Upgrades can complete in less than 24 hours in some cases. I understand your stance on this, however you were given a warning prior to entering your payment information.

Q u o t e:
Most trial restrictions will be removed immediately after payment information is entered for an upgrade, but some restrictions (such as certain in-game chat privileges) will remain in place until payment verification is fully complete. This may take up to 72 hours.
^^

but after all that i can deal with waiting another day before i can upgrade to my retail copy of BC, but after the trial was instantly removed, wow just crashes and close due to this. Why wasn't the char transferred to a main city, so for some reason it its going to take another 72 hours, i can even log into my char for another 3 days ......
My apologies, this is something that should have mentioned and confirmed by our phone representative. :/

I've kept a close eye on the account and it should be good to go by now. Feel free to upgrade your account to The Burning Crusade. Once the upgrade is complete, you may log back in. Keep in mind that there will be no need to reinstall.
