Beta client issue!

Hello, I received an e-mail from Blizzard saying there was a change in my account, I proceed to Battle.net and it says "Cataclysm Upgrade Available!" hovering over my WotLK logo under Game Management and the Summary Tab. On the side it says I can enter a cd key for Cataclysm or buy it in the Blizzard Store. Also today a download appeared for the PTR without me accessing the PTR at all. I was wondering if that could be the Blizzard download. I am very confused and would just like to know if I do have a Beta Client. The email and my account being upgraded correspond with this!

I can understand your confusion, Manami, so let me try and clarify.

The email you received regarding a change being made to the account does sound like a phishing attempt. I checked the account to be certain and I do not show this account being flagged for the Cataclysm beta. I can confirm, though, that the PTR client was added to the account today.

Players will begin to see the green arrow with the “Cataclysm Upgrade Available!” message in preparation for the Cataclysm pre-orders.
