I used this wow/battle.net account to send a friend an invite to play wow, he told me to send it to his hotmail, clicked the link, then registered his account with a gmail address rather than the hotmail address I sent the invite too. He has since purchased game time and also upgraded from Vanilla to BC and WOTLK; so whilst we both want to share the r.a.f benefits, I dont want him to have to pay another $80USD or so just to get them.
His battle.net account name is<removed>, the invite I sent the r.a.f to was <removed>
Is there any way we can get the linked accounts, since technically we followed the policies (registering from the email...purchasing/upgrading the account), but he just decided to use a different email.

Regards
Merk

I did remove those emails, that's an awesome way to start getting phish emails :)

What he'll want to do is call our Billing department and see if they can offer him any remedies for this.

It can sometimes be challenging to get through to Billing, but I'd recommend NOT using a cell if possible. Those can disconnect at the most inconvenient times!

Your best option is probably trying this weekend if you can't call before they close. They are open 13 hours a day, 7 days a week. That would be the most expedient way to deal with this since you can ask questions, and so can they :)
