Battlegroup Matchmaking Change

To facilitate better matchmaking for the Whirlwind and Emberstorm Battlegroups, players on the following realms will now have a chance to be matched together when using the Dungeon Finder or the Random Battleground system.

We feel this change will reduce wait times and provide players on these realms with a more enjoyable dungeon and Battleground experience. While Whirlwind and Emberstorm are currently the only Battlegroups sharing a matchmaking pool, we expect to link all Battlegroups within a region once we've determined the effectiveness of this change within these first two Battlegroups.

Absolutely. We do indeed still wish to link all Battlegroups within a specific gameplay region. This is simply "step 1" of that endeavor. :)

That's great and all, but I can't enter bgs as of today. The queue interface thinks I'm in a group when I'm not, and when the queue pops I can't enter them. I've tried queuing for specific bgs, tried randoms. Same result, cannot enter. The queue just expires. I can't requeue for another bg because it flags me as still being in queue.

Fix or undo this crap, please.

despite the BG Queue bugs going on, I must say Im excited about this merger going on. now if only we could have a strong alliance Battlegroup join up, give us a fighting chance......

How are the Battleground queues this morning? We applied a fix last evening that we believe resolved the issue, so if you're currently playing on Whirlwind or Emberstorm and are still getting "stuck" in a Battleground queue, let us know as soon as possible.
