Scroll of Resurrection Question

If I were to send a friend of mine a scroll of resurrection to his BC wow account, would this give him access to WotLK content for the duration of his trial?

I want him to try out WokLK before Cata comes out but I do not know how to get him to see the new content w/o him having to purchase the game as he wont do that until i sufficiently get him addicted again :D

TL:DR = Will a scroll of res on a BC account let a person trial WotLK content?

Heya Maugen,

I would recommend your friend do this rather than the Scroll of Resurrection.
▲▲ I would suggest the same for now to try the new content. When the trial is over, you can get him back on with the scroll of resurrection, then he will just need to upgrade his Burning Crusade edition to Wrath of the Lich King.

I hate questioning you, but I was under the impression adding a trial would bring the account out of being inactive. That would mean the scroll wouldn't work.
You are correct, my mistake. It will have to be one or the other. If they choose the Scroll of resurrection they have to be inactive for 90 days. He can then upgrade to Wrath of the Lich King if would like to.

If they would like to just try the content and do the trial for 10 days they can, but will NOT be able to use the Scroll of resurrection.

Thank you for pointing that out, Ookami.
