Guild Authenticator/Ranks Help

I have seen similar issues but nothing exactly like this one so hopefully someone can help. In my guild which is pretty much all friends/coworkers we set up an auth requirement and officer rank and above. I currently have two guys (whom both have authenticators) where only 1 of each of their alts refuses to get promoted to officer. All of their other toons work just fine and are at the officer rank, but these two alts have the button greyed out.

I have tried everything from kicking them, reinviting, having them remove and re-attach auth etc... and no luck. Has anyone had a similar issue that got this fixed?

Any help would be great!

This issue should decrease over time - what happens is there is a 72 hour hold period after an authenticator is added before it becomes effective for the guild functionality.

After the patch is when this started - so if they'd not logged into their alts until recently, that timer would start at that first login - or should.

Does that make sense? Someone may have had an authenticator for years, but that particular timer is new and will activate from their first login after the last patch.
