Checking on my account

Hi, I'm currently using a friend's account to post this (we don't share - it's a one time thing) as my account is currently suspended after getting hacked.

To make things clear, here is what happened :

I last logged in/out around 6 PM Thursday (montreal time) and went to sleep (I had not slept the last night due to a mid-term thursday morning) around 8 PM. I only woke up around 11 AM the next morning (friday) and didn't get close to my computer until maybe 12:30 PM or 13:30 PM. The hacking happened while I was sleeping just a bit before 4 AM. My RL friend who was on at the time reported to me that my account came online around 3:35 AM and he suspected something fishy when I logged on multiple level 1 alts on multiple servers. He tried contacting me on skype at 3:51 but I was sleeping.

From the emails I received from Blizzard, the hacker only changed the password at 3:52 (I assume he did when my friend tried to talk to him to prevent my friend from doing anything if he had my password - although he doesn't so he was helplessly watching it happen) and got banned at 3:58 for in-game currency selling spam.

Upon realizing the next afternoon that my account had been hacked, I went through multiple virus and malware scans on both my desktop and laptop and found nothing. I changed my password on both my email and my BNET account and proceeded with reporting I was hacked. This reset my password once again and I chose a new one. It turns out my sister's computer that I do use from time to time had 32 issues reported from a quick scan from MalwareBytes.

Note : At this point I could log in but all my characters were clean empty so I logged off and waited for Blizzard's reply.

2:55 PM - I received the account recovery form confirmation email from Blizzard saying they would investigate the situation. Ticket number : (removed). It advertises 10-12 working hours or 2 working days so I go on with my day as I have mid-terms to study anyway.

Note : My account gets re-locked at this point. No biggie, they are investigating.

3:13 PM Friday - I received an email from Blizzard giving me the steps to secure my computer. Probably automated message.

3:21 PM Friday - After a thorough investigation, we have found this account to be eligible for restoration. Please be aware that your computer may contain a malicious software program, such as a keylogger, or the account information and password may have been shared with others. In either case, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Password, and you will be responsible for all uses of your Password, whether or not authorized by you.

3:22 PM Friday - I receive 3 emails saying they restored 3 of my characters (1 email / char with all that was restored).

3:13 PM Saturday - I receive 2 Blizzard Support Customer Satisfaction Survey‏.

Note : At that point my account is still not available.

So basically, everything seems done and perfect with the exception that my account is still unavailable. At first I figured it was a matter of minutes or hours before it was reactivated after I received the character restoration emails but its been almost 60 hours since those emails and almost 36 hours since the survey emails.

I've been patient and still am, but I'm just wondering if you can check whats up with my account. Did the GM simply forget to un-block it after he fixed everything or is the investigation still going on and I should wait out the working days ? It just seems weird that everything was fixed and they sent me surveys as if my file was done and closed even though my account is still unavailable...

The best thing to do in this case, Manchot, would be to contact Account Services by phone. Upon proper verification of the account, the representative should be able to unlock the account for you.
