Trial Accounts can't speak??

Hello,

I am a level 18 Tauren on the Wyrmcrest Accord server. I am new to the game and am learning as I go. One thing though, when i type '/say <message>' I get the following error:

"Trial accounts cannot send unlimited tells, you must wait to send tells to more players."

But here's the thing, I've never sent a tell to a player. I haven't communicated with anyone at all, because I get that error when I try to say something. It seems to me a 'say' isn't a 'tell' at all, so why can't I say anything. I feel like it's greatly limiting my experience. I tried to join a group with dungeon fire and hunted for about thirty minutes, but had to abandon the group in the midst of battle because I couldn't communicate with them -- at all.

I have an open ticket about it, because I've been told you're supposed to be able to use /say, but the tickets been open now for five hours.

Any thoughts?
