RaF, friend dc/phased belf starting area

I just recently got my gf to try and play wow and we are doing the recruit a friend program. i invite her to group and we play together for a good 10mins before it says to me that she has gone offline and disappears but shows her in the party as phased. On her screen(we were sitting right next to each other) no npc moves and she cant enter into combat with any npc or talk to any npc. i was the party lead and i kicked her from group and it told her on her screen she was removed from group which i assume means she is not disconnected or offline but then i invite her back to group and the window appears on her screen to accept or decline my invitation and if she accepts it will say that she joined my group but does not show her on either of our screens.

I hope i can get a fix or some kind of help because she was getting pretty frustrated with the constant having to log out and in for us to be able to play for like 10 mins before the same thing occurs, honestly this patch has been a mess and its like someone put it in trade chat "turns out we are all beta testers"

Is she running any addons at all? When was this installed, post-patch?

A good starting place is a full reset UI, just to get down to a standard if nothing else. I'd recommend that as a first step.

To do a full reset UI, you will want to save your addons in another spot if you wish to preserve them.

Then rename/delete or move your WTF, Cache and Interface folders while WoW is shutdown. Reboot your system.

Note, if you are running Vista make sure your permissions are set so it does not undo your changes.
