Where is my [Drake Mounted Crossbow]?

Hey I took about a 4 month break came back just before 4.0.1 hit.

Before the patch hit I had my [Drake Mounted Crossbow] equipped everything was cool.

Log back in after 4.0.1 hits and I've got some rinky dink green bow in place of it.

I don't believe it was taken out with the patch because i've seen people running around with it still.

So do I have to open a ticket in-game to get it back or will this post work?

This is definitely something you'd want to submit a petition for, Pivane. While I have roots as a Game Master, I'm afraid I'm unable to assist with many of these issues directly, as my primary function is to provide guidance and moderate these forums.

Sounds like the item may have been inadvertently vendored, especially if you have a related addon. These things are fairly time sensitive, so the sooner the better. >^.^< I can't guarantee a restoration, but I do wish you the best!
