Hey I was just flying around Hellfire Peninsula just now and I had a ticket in the top corner of my screen waiting to be read. Inside was my ticket about someone giving away my personal information on Trade Channel and told people to go to my facebook and myspace and write dirty comments on my page. I have waited about 2 days now and then I get a probobly machine message. Shortened out, it basicly said,

"We apologize about your recent harassment issues. We are stepping up as high as we can to stop online harrasment of our customers. If you continue to have issues with this character, there is an ignore feature that will allow you to block all messages from this player. Thanks for contantin blizz.:

I was not happy... lol... First of all, I know that if Blizzard REALLY wanted to stop online harrasment (which is illegal), they would set up a system where they would monitor game chat. Second, why would I ever want to ignore someone that I am aware is posting my personal information to the entire internet to cause more harrasment? So that they could post my information behind my back? I can not beleive the customer service in now-a-day in-game support

So now my question for you is what was your worst Game Master experience? Leave ridiculous stories about this in-game service that needs to be upped.

Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear about the harassment you've been experiencing, Krystøn. But please understand that while we do fully investigate every issue brought to us, our Game Masters are unable to provide information regarding the actions we take on other players' accounts. This is in the best interest of the privacy of all of our players.

I believe what you are referring to as "illegal" is cyber-bullying, which is a law that is enforced in a select few states and countries. However, this is something that is outside the purview of Blizzard Entertainment's ability to enforce - if you feel threatened, and you feel the actions taken against you by another player constitute cyber-bullying, you must go to your local law enforcement. We can provide necessary information to the appropriate legal entity, but not to other players. We are quite happy to work with your local law enforcement if they need to contact us.

As the nature of this post altogether is entirely deconstructive, I've locked it. If you have any constructive criticism you'd like to provide about our services, then that would best be posted in our Suggestions forum.
