Deleting a battle.net account.

I wasn't exactly sure where I'd post this, so I figured the most vague area of the forums couldn't hurt. I started playing WoW a bit over a year ago, and merged my account with a battle.net account before it was even mandatory.

However, I no longer use this e-mail due to getting an insane amount of spam on it (it's a rather old email from my early years of high school), and have since switched to a gmail account. I want to switch my account to my current email, but I already have a battle.net account with a trial account on it that has expired long ago, I don't exactly remember when I did this.

I've attempted to delete the battle.net account that is using up my current email, but I am unable to do so, after searching the whole account section on the battle.net site. Does anybody know if there is a way to delete this battle.net account so I can swap the emails out?

This is mainly just so I can get any emails from Blizzard concerning my account in a timely fashion, and I like to have uniform usernames for everything. Thanks a bunch.

TL;DR - I wanna delete a battle.net account with an expired trial on it so I can switch the emails, I own both accounts.

There is no simple way to swap the e-mail, Katbearcow, and deleting a battle.net account is not possible. In this case our billing and account services would know the best course of action. You will need to contact them directly.
