Character flagged for rename.

Hi, i made a level 1 toon with a name i wanted to use when i transferred my toon over, transferred and faction changed my toon then deleted the level 1. Tried logging in and it says your name has been flagged for rename. Ive done this before but had to end up paying for a name change in order to use the name i wanted. Im wondering if there is anyway around choosing a name and then paying to change it to the desired name. thank you

When you transfer a character and the name is already taken on the destination realm a naming flag will be placed on your character to allow you to select a new name that is not taken. Unfortunately, you did not log into the character to remove that flag so when the Faction Change was initiated you changed your name to what you wanted but that flag remained.

If you transfer and faction change in the future just make sure you log into the character between steps. :)

You should be set now, the flag has been removed.
