Paying to test the beta.

I know that with any new patch, there's going to be bugs. The larger the patch, the bigger the chance they'll find their way in. It happens, and it's largely unavoidable. However, theres some issues that really should have been sorted before this patch went live, and leaves me scratching my head as to how I managed to be roped into paying to be a beta tester.

1. Cog of Death. This little icon used to mean interact, and now has come to mean you're whole computer is frozen, ctrl alt del to the task manager and shut wow down. This is a pretty common icon, and how it managed to slip into the beta without being fixed is baffling. How it got into live even more so. Why it hasn't been fixed yet is beyond any rational understanding.

2. Spirit healers wont res. Surely the sole responsibility of the spirit healer has somehow became a low priority to them. To find this in the beta would be fine, bug report that sucker and fix it before the live launch.

3. On a differant vein, my brothers account was hacked. His email address succombed to the same fate soon after. All good though, because he sent an email from a differant address. Except its been over 24 hours now and not even a reply to say they recieved the request and are working on it. Granted, it takes time to look into these things, but if a compony is having to leave customers on hold for over a day before even aknowledging them, it's just bad service. More staff seem to be required.

I'd gladly pay extra for the monthly sub if I thought Blizz was doing it tough financially. I'd even offer to be a beta tester at their expence if they need more people to test their product. Since neither of these is the case, I just dont understand how all these things still come to be.

Sorry for the rant, this is much more wordy than I first thought, and perhaps more aggresive than I intended.

Cogwheel is a known issue.

Spirit Healers, that one sounds like it may be an interface issue if you cannot interact with them.

If your brother didn't contact us from the registered email, he'll want to call Billing to try to get back into control of the account. At best, the only answer he's liable to receive from another email is that we cannot help him unless he contacts us from the registered email address.
