Missing Character/Restore

Hello, no more than 10 minutes ago I had a conversation with a GM (name was something like Turnisael - and if you know his correct name, I'd love to give him feedback) and near the end of the conversation I asked him about the possibility of restoring my 60ish priest I once had named Blessed (blood elf priest on Kael'thas). He said he had restored it for me, and he had great customer service... but alas, I logged out, and there was not a priest to be found lol. Does it take time for a restored character to show, or is something else wrong on my end?

Thanks in advance!

Just an update, the character is still not showing. =/

That character is back, Snuggly - it's a matter of getting him to show up.

Couple things you can try. One, log all the way out to desktop and back in and check your list.

Sometimes resetting your password can also force a refresh.

The alternate realm on your battlegroup trick also sometimes works, but it sounds like in this case it has not.

He IS there, just need to get him to show in your list.

Hey Orlyia (You're a saint, btw).

I've tried creating new characters, deleteing them, changing my password, and logging out for half an hour. Are there any more tips? Would deleting my wtf folder help or anything like that?

Reset UI couldn't hurt, but I'm doubtful that would help in this situation. These do usually show up over time.

One other thing I might recommend, if one of those characters isn't needed, you could delete it to make a spot. Making a character on that realm is almost always a sure cure. You could then ask it be restored - but it may suffer the same fate for awhile.
