I'm not sure if this is the right place, but me and my dad both play this game. Only problem is we share MY account, and i can't even log on to play for 10 seconds without my dad wanting to play. And it's getting quite annoying, now to make my dads own account would i beable to just use the game i already have? Or would we have to buy the whole game again, make him an account and transfer his character over? Also if that is what we have to do, i would assume he would have to uninstall the game and install it again?

The answer to this question depends a great deal on whether you are a minor or have achieved legal age, Luramoon.

If you are a minor - this should actually be in HIS name and you could both play on the account.

If you are not a minor, he needs his own account and preferably his own Battle.net.

Yes, it will require another copy of the game and expansions, every account is separate. It would require setting that up, but no extra installation would be necessary, just the setup on the account.

As far as transferring a character, again, a lot depends on if you are a minor or not. Characters aren't normally transferable unless it's a case of parent/guardian minor.

Does that answer most of your questions?

I am of age, and the account is under my credit card and everything. He came home one day and seen me playing, and decided to just make a character on my account. I said it was fine because i didn't think he would get so addicted. So since i'm not a minor i should beable to tranfser his character to his account when he makes one?

You'd need to discuss this with our Billing department. Normally transfers cannot be done under these circumstances.

I'd recommend you check out our Refer a Friend program. If it's necessary for him to reroll his characters, that would give him a significant boost and you can both play together, there are also benefits to your account.

Oh i didn't know that, so if i got him the game's again and he made his own account. And i transfered his character over we could get in trouble?

I just want us both to beable to play, but i don't want him to have to start all over again.

Given your circumstances, that's why I recommended discussing this with our Billing department. Normally transfers between adult individuals is NOT something done, but they may be able to consider this request with appropriate documentation. That's something they will need to talk to you about.
