Question re: Exploration

Hello!

Don't know if this is the correct forum; if not, let me know where I should repost.

Anyway, here's my question/issue:

Working on exploring on one of my 80s (an Alliance toon). Explore Mulgore - I've ridden all the way around the base of each pillar, discovering Elder, Hunter and Spirit Rises. I've ridden both of the lifts to the top. But I have not gotten credit for discovering Thunder Bluff. What do I have to do to get credit? Ride through the middle of a Horde city and get skewered? Is this a bug?

Thanks for any constructive responses!

Is it just Thunder Bluff thats giving you a problem, Opilio?

Were you able to explore all other areas?
  • Red Cloud Mesa
  • Palemane Rock
  • Bloodhoof Village
  • Winterhoof Water Well
  • The Rolling Plains
  • The Venture Co. Mine
  • Ravaged Caravan
  • The Golden Plains
  • Thunderhorn Water Well
  • Bael'Dun Digsite
  • Red Rocks
  • Windfury Ridge
  • Wildmane Water Well
  • Thunder Bluff

Can you give me the name and realm of your character, please?

Thanks, Opilio. Let me further look into this for you. From what I can see, your character has succesfully explored Thunder Bluff.

For the sake of troubleshooting, if you are using addons, make sure you have tried temporarily removing your addons.

Thank you for the information, Kaidiel. I am currently looking into whether this is a known issue or not.

====================

Opilio, Can you confirm if your achievement window has thunder bluff lit, as in already explored?

Q u o t e:
Rory, question. Both 80s are explorers yet constantly discovering things again. I just did a clean install so I know that addons/UI aren't the problem. Bug reports I go?
Yes please. I noticed this on my character, but did not think much about it at that time.

Roraks, who posted earlier in this thread, seems to have deserted us.
My apologies for the delayed response, Opilio.

I have received an update on this issue and it appears it can be resolved by submitting an in game petition. When opening a petition make sure you clearly state that you are unable to get the achievement "Explore Mulgore".

Thanks for the followup guys.
Q u o t e:
I'm new to the game.. and I don't know how to submit a trouble ticket for Exploring Mulgore (having same issue).

Can someone help me?
Kairis,

You should be able to open an in game ticket on any character, preferably on the character experiencing the issue.

While in game ► Click on the red question mark ► Talk to a GM ► Submit your petition.
Q u o t e:
When opening a petition make sure you clearly state that you are unable to get the achievement "Explore Mulgore".
Once you are ready to submit your ticket, click Submit.
