I guess I should have reported that issue in the bug report forum, but I was just wondering if taking advantage of that bug was against the rules or considered griefing.

You could report this, but on a PvP realm, I doubt it would be considered exploiting. Griefing just really not a factor on a PvP realm in most cases. I know exactly what you are referring to, it happened to our group, not every time. This is a known issue and is being addressed.

Thanks for the reply! I wasn't too concerned as it is a pvp realm, but I wanted something concrete to tell my guildies that are getting ticked off about it. I personally think its funny.

Oh, it's a pretty low-down dirty thing to do, hopefully it will be addressed very soon - and as I said, it doesn't seem to necessarily happen ALL the time, least that wasn't my groups experience. I can imagine why some might be a bit disgruntled, totally understandable.

I need to speak to a GM about an account issue and have tried other methods. Is anyone awake?

Have him check his email for a new password. He may need to call Billing.

And just for the record, sharing of accounts isn't allowed under our terms - even by spouses.

Sounds like it thought his account was under attack from a malicious party.
