...to move the patch from my computer to a friends so they did not have to download the full 4 gig file? I have a 16 gig thumb drive I just don't know what I would move or if that was even possible.

Yes it is possible, Evilfrog! If you can link the computers, just click and drag or copy the entire World of Warcraft folder to the other machine. If you are unable to link the two systems then simply copy the new patcher from the WoW directory to the thumb drive. Once you pull it over to your friends computer dump it into the folder that he has World of Warcraft in, and have him double click the patch icon; it should start installing itself automatically.

The file that looks similar to the following:
    WoW-3.0.1-to-3.0.2-enUS-Win-Update-downloader.exe

If all they need is the latest patch, then the end number should be 4.0.1.
