Has the justice point exploit been snuffed?

My account is coming back up for play soon after a 72 hour suspension. Apparently, I unintentionally exploited a bug or bugs that allowed me to gain additional justice points. All the gear I earned after the patch was stripped from my account. I would like to start farming justice points again for the gear that was stripped from my character, but I'm afraid to even queue now as I'm still not sure exactly what the exploit was.

Can you please tell us if this exploit was snuffed out, and is it safe to resume queue'ing via the random dungeon finder?
