"Ticket has been escalated"?

Hi,

I opened up a ticket concerning the new 310% mount speeds and the Violet Proto Drake, and long story short I would have gotten the skill for free this hallows end, except for the fact that according to a blue post, all mounts would scale to riding skill.

I saw that post on Wednesday this past week.

On Thursday I got angry because the ONLY thing stopping me from saving 4k gold was the Sinister Squashling, and I bought the skill because, well, there was no way for me to get it anymore without buying it.

On Friday I saw another blue post saying that they had changed their minds about the violet proto drake, and it WOULD still award free 310% flying.

I opened up a ticket begging for a refund, because although it was hasty of me to buy the skill, there was no evidence to suggest that there would be a change on the very mount I was counting on for the skill.

Sorry for the long intro, but the point of my post is this:

The ticket status has changed to "Your ticket has been escalated."

What does this mean? I have never seen it before, and I waited online for about 2 hours today for a GM to contact me in case it meant they were wanting to talk to me in person and were just waiting for me to log on. A guildmate of mine said it means normal GMs cant handle the problem and it was being sent to higher-ups.

Can anyone please tell me for sure what it means? I tried searching the forums for it, but I didnt find anything.

Q u o t e:
I had the same issue and I was told no on the reimbursement :(

Was this on a different account, Sylaurell? I only see one recent petition and that is about harassment.

Anxt, if a petition has been escalated it means it has been forwarded to a special queue for review or resolution.

When the Master Riding skill went in that moved the 310% flying skill from being mount specific to a learned skill it became a content change, which is something that we traditionally are unable to provide compensation or reimbursement for. The recent announcement by Zarhym would indicate that our Developers are implementing a method for players who are working on the the holiday achievement "What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been.

For those of you who may have purchased Master Riding but were originally intending to complete the achievement it may be prudent to submit an in-game petition. This is still a new change so I can not guarantee that we'll be able to assist with the reimbursement but it doesn't hurt to ask.
