Morrowgrain Research Quest glitching?

I got to the point where i can buy seeds from the npc and go to ungoro to work on the quest, but the quest is not in my log and it is not possible for me to attain the quest again. I'm wondering if this has something to do with 4.0.1, I've been doing this quest chain on my 59 alliance NE warrior since the alliance side version has the companion quests in stormwind and feathermoon stronghold.

I filed a ticket in game but GM's were unable to do anything more than file a "possible glitch report". The oddity is that i have all the stuff neccessary to complete the quest, but i can't get the quest / it's not in my quest log. GM was only able to say that some quests have been removed in 4.0.1 and that this might be one of them.

It does look as thought this may be one of the quests that was removed with the patch, Kessenshi. I do apologize if this has caused some confusion.

Specifically, the NPC Quintis Jonespyre of Feathermoon Stronghold is still in the Morrowgrain business. I know because I just talked to him. : )
