Q u o t e:
Thank you very much, I guess they did change the email of his account. Appreciate it. Is there a time limit in which they can fix his account being hacked? It happened last August and he's been busy with school and never really played much. He didn't even know it happened cause his account wasn't even active at the time.
It's vital he get in touch as soon as possible - even if he doesn't plan on returning right away. The older a compromise gets, the less chance of a full restoration being possible.
If they added an authenticator and changed his email, his email IS compromised. He needs to fully scan his system for security threats as well as either secure his email - or create another totally unrelated one to use with his Battle.net account.
He may wish to start this with a call to Billing. If they've changed his email on the account, that's often the quickest way to resolve that - and that really needs done prior to anything else.
