Can't see chat or type anything

After the first day of the new patch, I haven't been able to see any of the chats. Not in the major cities or anywhere else. Nothing shows up when I type either so I can't even leave and then join the channels. Help?

If resetting your chat window does not work, can you try the following:

- Go to the location where the channels are stuck at.
- type: /script LeaveChannelByName("ENTER FULL CHANNEL NAME HERE")
- type: /join STANDARD NAME OF CHANNEL
- Repeat this process for each channel.
- You may need to enter and exit the city to successfully rejoin the channels.

Example:

- /script LeaveChannelByName("Trade
- Ironforge")
- /join Trade

Try the following steps:

1. Leave all chat channels
2. Right click your General Chat Tab and click Reset Chat window.
3. Delete your WTF, Cache and Interface folders, found inside your WoW folder
4. Restart the game
5. Test your chat channels.
