I'm sorry to hear that, Cthru. Personally, I've never felt that and I'm a fairly casual player. I go through stints where I play nearly every night and other times when I haven't accessed the game in ages because I'm working on other things. I may not have as good of gear as everyone else when I return but I'm not completely out of the loop and illegible for it.

Yes, it may take a bit of work if you want to go for the really high end raids but everyone who wants to do those has to put a bit of effort into them, that's the point.

It should be noted, Cthru, that even if you delete your high level characters, they are still there in the database and though no restoration is ever guaranteed they likely can be recovered just by requesting it. If you really wish to quit the game only you can determine if you will ever return through your own force of will.
