Character Not Found on all toons

Whenever I attempt to log in, on any character, since the realm maintenance, the blue bar fills and the game hangs at the loading screen. After a period of time, I get kicked back to the character select, told "Character not found", and then disconnected from the server and kicked back to the login screen.

I have managed to just brute force my way into my character a few times, through stubbornly logging in again and again. Most of these times, I then get disconnected from the server after a minute or so in WoW. The other time, I connected and ran several raids as smooth as can be for a period of several hours. Believing the problem resolved, I logged off for a while to take care of RL. I come back and the problem has persisted.

I have no idea how to approach this problem. I tried resetting Cache, Interface, and WTF and saw no change.

Help?

Have you tried running our Repair.exe tool yet, Elpidha? It should be available for your use in your World of Warcraft folder. If not, you can download a new copy of it below:

Well, I've checked to see if it was an issue with your characters specifically, which it doesn't seem to be the case. (I felt this was unlikely to begin with, but doesn't hurt to check, right?) I also took a look to see if perhaps there was another party trying to illegitimately log in to your account. That also does not appear to be the case.

This is very likely a technical support issue, and I have a sneaking suspicion that they may have just misinterpreted your title/thread contents, as they can be quite busy over there and might have missed some of the information you provided. I wish I could provide additional assistance, but I'm afraid my knowledge doesn't quite extend into that realm. Scratch the drivers issue, it definitely seems connection related after reading through a second time. The university issue is pretty likely, if your campus has specific ports blocked off or restricted.

Aside from that, I would recommend contacting Technical Support, possibly via other means than the forums.

Q u o t e:
Regarding the university factor: This issue did not come up until the weekly maintenance this week, I have gorgeous latency and bandwidth, and they don't port block or traffic scrub for Internet gaming or even torrents; in fact, the first campus-wide email I recall getting this year from the network people was that they'd fixed a long-standing problem that was causing connectivity issues for Steam users :).

Gotcha. Beats me, then, I'm afraid. =>.<=

I'd rather not bounce it back specifically, just because my posts are meant to be restricted here and I'd have to mangle the thread a bit to be able to send it back - do you mind creating a new topic, perhaps with a different title, over there? It would be best for this situation. <3
