Regarding The Patch DVDs Sent Via Mail

Background:

Due to my internet service provider's 5G monthly cap, I'm unable to download this new patch without paying steep overage fees.

Through communication with other players on these forums, I discovered that Blizzard was offering the service to send the patch data on a DVD through the mail.

I contacted Blizzard, confirmed that this service was being offered, and followed the directions for requesting a DVD.

Now:

I still got no DVD. =(

I'm just posting to see if the representative I was in correspondence with was mistaken, or if my request was lost, or whatever else might have gone wrong, here.

To clarify: At this exact point in time, we do not have a standalone patch that can be applied to the old client to bring your game up to date with live servers. The "patch" that's downloaded is monstrous because it is, not precisely but basically speaking, downloading a new version of the client (if that makes sense). As a result, right now, there is no DVD we can provide.

This should change in coming weeks (which is part of the reason why there has been a delay in sending these out), but it's not quite ready yet. You should be sent a patch DVD as soon as they are available if one has been requested.

Nevalistis simply follows up by saying, if and when one becomes available, it will be sent to you.
