Patch broke leatherworking.

Since the patch, my Elemental Leatherworking is gone, rendering my Primalstrike set useless. I have sent in two (now three) tickets for help, and each time I get a generic response saying that Blizzard can not help me with my lost enchants. I may have missed it, but I saw nothing in the patch notes that said leatherworking specializations were going away. I would really like to have a resolution to this, please.

Look, if this is intended and I have to make myself some new armor, I am alright with that... though I will lose some stats for a few levels. I do not think it is right, but if leatherworking specializations no longer exist, great. Just let me know, without the canned "all avenues have been exhausted, we cannot help you" message.

Thanks for your (I hope) consideration and help/

The removal of the subspecialities was intended.

The side-effect of armor not being able to be used was not - that is a known issues and is being worked on.

Q u o t e:

Well I'll have to say I'm disappointed with the removal of specializations without any notice. There are a lot of patterns that I would have learned before the patch if I knew that I would lose the opportunity afterwards.

If the pattern still exists, that should allow anyone to learn them (leatherworker that is). If they no longer exist, they usually disappear from your recipe lists.
