Raven Lord - summon no longer needed?

I was wondering if this was an intended change or a bug. A lot of people have reported going into H Sethekk and finding Anzu already summoned and available to kill, with no druid or summoning required. I went and checked with a friend, and lo and behold, he was already waiting for us.

I already have the mount, but I run it fairly often with friends to give them a chance at their own mount. Am I not needed anymore? =(
