I played WoW from January 2007 to early 2008, left the game due to money complications, and now want to get back into the action again.
The problem:
I am unable to merge my old WoW account to my new BattleNet account (which is required to play now), I can remember my account name, just not the correct password, and it seems I haven't got my WoW account connected to my e-mail anymore (probably due to it being hacked somehow) so I am unable to reset the password. The account is now old enough that the characters are no longer visible in the Armory and that the account is probably locked.
I have e-mailed Blizzard's Billing department several times (I have both photographic evidence of authentication keys of TBC and the vanilla WoW, and I am able to provide information about in-game characters without them being visible in the Armory, so verification that I am the owner should not be a problem) within the last two weeks now, and have not replied once (my e-mails have been thoroughly checked, even the Junk folder). I am at a loss of what to do. Blizzard aren't contacting me back and I can't merge the account myself. Can anyone enlighten me as to what I should do?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advance :)
I really just want to start playing again...
