Where is the 4.0.1 pre-launch event that was on the PTR? people running scared, quests to tell us about the twilight cultists and elemental rifts?

before anyone says anything, the game will change in 4.0.3 with the shattering. that will be the cataclysm changes for the old world, new quests, class/race combo's etc.

4.0.1 is supposed to stop operation Gnomeregan, and Zalazanes fall, and commence, the next event in the pre launch line up. being the Twilight cult and Elemental Invasions....WHERE IS IT BLIZZ?

Things have started already, but they are just the first of the events leading up to Cataclysm. You may want to go to the major cities and hear what your leaders are up to. You also may want to make sure your earthquake kits are up to date too, you may start feeling the earth move under your feet.

Everything is not going to happen at once and we don't want to give away any surprises. You'll just have to keep your eyes and ears open as we march on toward December 7th.

Would love to do this, but alas, my system freezes up every time my character loads. Maybe I should go look in technical support. Oh wait, did that & no response yet.

So, how you doin'?

Hopefully someone from tech support will get back to you soon.

I'm doing good. Lots to do, little time to do it in, and still trying to make sure I'm keeping an eye on all the goings on with the patch. I also need to make some room on my home computer so I can finish patching. ;) Who knew I had filled that sucker up with so much.

Sounds like it's time for a new hard drive. 1TB drives are cheap, these days.

Also, really like your forum signature, considering what we're going to experience in-game as 7 December approaches ;)

Even 2TB is getting relatively inexpensive. I'm definitely thinking about it. I think I'm due for an upgrade anyway. :)

Did you fill it up, or should you check your husband's folder?

I just bought a new computer with 1TB hard drive. I have about 500GB just in videos and music spread across three hard drives now...

I'm a music collector so have quite a bit just of that plus some more productive programs outside of games. So it's definitely all me. I take care of our network and upgrades at home. He doesn't dare touch my computer. ;)
