I am able to see posts to Trade channel and private channels, but, although I have been carefully checking anything I type for accuracy of text, I am unable to post to any channel. When I type a message, it either goes nowhere without any clue as to why it didn't post, or it gives me the "/help" error. This is occurring on multiple toons on different realms. I haven't noticed anyone else post this issue in the forums, yet, but I was wondering if this is a known issue. Before the patch, it all worked perfectly, now.....I cant post anything. One of my toons was able to leave trade, but is unable to rejoin it. Trying to add a channel either by text or the add window yields no success. Guild and party chat seems completely unaffected.
To solve the issue, I have tried disabling all addons, removing all addons, resetting the chat window with "/resetchat" followed by a complete UI reset without any addons installed......in that order.
It is kind of limiting if a player cannot access trade channel for assistance from other players, looking for professions for goods/services, or finding groups (as it has become the "go to" channel for group finding). I hope there is an option here that I haven't thought of yet that is a simple fix, or that Blizzard can hotfix this asap.
