Guild rank authenticator issue

So I was in the process of messing around with the new guild authenticator controls for the guild this character is the GM of, and I was unable to apply it to the second rank. I understand that in order to apply it to an existing rank, all of the characters have to have authenticators. Well the guild has only 18 members, and the only officers are my alts, all of which are on this account, which has an authenticator.

Is this a known issue, or did I do something wrong?

This is something we are currently investigating, Meleagar. We'll try to provide updates to this matter as soon as possible.

Q u o t e:
I am unable to promote a guild officer to the new "authenticator required" rank. Any ETA when this issue will be resolved?
The change is intended, Warkin. Has your guildie been online for at least 72 hours with an authenticator attached to his account?
Q u o t e:
You cannot assign a character to a Guild rank (that requires an authenticator) unless that character has an authenticator attached to their account for 72hours. This timer starts once the player has logged into the game after attaching the authenticator to their account.

My apologies.

This should help clear up some of the confusion.
Q u o t e:
Since this feature is new with patch 4.0.1, though, this sort of "checking" has to occur globally—so it'll be roughly 72 hours from the first time a character logs in after patching before it will be eligible for an Authenticator-required rank. This wait period will still apply even if a player has had an Authenticator attached to their account for months (or even years).
In other words, Friday would be the earliest anyone would be able to advantage of this feature.
