As the others have said, Enderoflife, this is a rather large patch in preparation for the expansion. With it comes with a number of changes.

Though we would love for everything to go smoothly there can be a number of unforeseen circumstances when you apply the patch to the live client. Our staff is working on bringing up all the realms as soon as possible.

I don't get why everyone is so quick to jump to blizzards side, while yes i play the game and enjoy it, doesn't anyone think that from a business stand point when you say "we will be up by 12pm" "oops 2" "oops 4" is just embarrassing? Give yourself more time from the original post or a window of time. Maybe its just me

Because many of them understand what this process entails, Hazell. This isn't an appointment we said we'd show up for and hit unexpected traffic. This is the application of a great deal of information to a fairly immense game. Given the amount of work involved it was estimated that the realms would go live around noon, unfortunately that estimate had to be adjusted due to unforeseen complications.

Yeah, but I have a 4 page list of training and certifications that allow me to make that statement.

It's not about them being shady. It's about them being LAZY. Huge difference.

Idnttchboys, I'm certain your 4 page list of training and certification makes you qualified to speak on a great many areas, Idnttchboys, but I'd venture that you don't really know or understand the processes involved with our systems. It is very easy to sit by and criticize others on what they may or may not be doing based on a limited understanding of what is involved. You are welcome to your opinion but your credentials do not give you insight into our systems, not without actually being here.

You are welcome to provide your constructive feedback regarding our maintenance procures if you wish on our Suggestion forum.
