I think a fake character may be on my account

When I go to choose my character for the forums here, there is something that struck me as odd. There is a character named Zakto that is on Lethon and is a Draenei Shaman. The thing is, I have no such character and there is no character named that when I actually go to play the game.

I have also recieved an email warning me about selling my account and that there is an investigation going on, when I wouldn't do something like that, and I'm worried that this character I cannot see on my account may be the reason that I have gotten this email.

If possible, can someone please look into this? I'm not sure if these are linked but I'd rather be safe then sorry and I already have changed my password, and hopefully plan to add an authenticator when my iPod Touch is fixed.
