i dont know if im just being a noob or dont understand the patch i just downloaded but i have the newest patch dowloaded and when i go to play all the realms are offline. if this scheduled and do i need to wait? can someone enlighten me on whats going on

No worries, Ahten. There's a few places you can look for messaging. One is the breaking news (which is posted in the game launcher and in game client - it's the neat message box that Rothly just mentioned). There is also the Service Status forum ( http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.html?sid=1&forumId=11113 ) and Realm Status page ( http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/realmstatus/ ). We'll also do our best to post updates as well in our CS Twitter feed ( http://twitter.com/BlizzardCS ).
