Arena Gear after 4.01 - Blue Tracker

Does anybody know if arena rating is going to be required to buy arena gear after the patch tonight?

I'm assuming there won't be a new season starting until Cata comes out so I wasn't sure if until that time comes if gear would just be bought with honor/arena points or if you still need to gain rating with no chance of getting a title or anything.

The arena gear that requires rating still requires it. With the season over your rating isn't visible, but the items will be purchasable with the new honor points based on where you were at the end of the season.

Purchasable with the new Honor points instead of Arena Points? Or will you still be able to use Arena Points (as I had read somewhere before that they weren't being immediately converted) to purchase any gear? I still wanted my T2 Crit Staff :/

Is this happening for other people? We had several people test this and they were able to purchase the arena items on the characters that did arenas.

It is working for me now, for some reason it was not showing as purchasable earlier. Now I can purchase the item. Shrug!

Is it working to where you can only purchase the items you would have normally qualified for? (If you qualified for everything I understand not being able to verify this, but wanted to check.)
