Failed launching downloader?

I just finished downloading the newest patch and when I click to play the game it gives me a message saying failed to launch downloader. Why would I get this did I do something wrong while downloading or is it on their end that things aren't ready yet as for the realms. Please let me know so I have an idea when to play again and thank you.

We are in the final stages of completing the maintenance process and will begin bringing realms online shortly. We currently anticipate all realms will be online by 5:00PM PDT and appreciate your continued patience.

All realms are slowly being brought online. Your individual realm may not yet be online yet but all realms are expected to be online by 6 PM PDT.
