Password changed without authenticator?

Hello,

When i arrived home today, my account login info was not working and I had to reset my password in order to regain access to my account. I have an authenticator, is that even possible?

Right now I am running a virus / spyware scan from my PC, but is there any way CS can tell me if my password has been changed more than once in the last 24 hours?

Thank you,

Brooky

An Authenticator is not required to initiate a password reset, Brooklyne, you only need to be able to answer some account specific questions and have access to the registered e-mail.

Though I see where you reset your password I also see a previous attempt that, unless you have some secret wormhole technology, is likely not your doing.

I'd recommend that you check your system for possible compromise then change your e-mail password or perhaps consider changing the e-mail address for your account.

Luckily due to your Authenticator they were unable to do much more than change the password so you should be fine otherwise.
