We will be performing extended maintenance on Tuesday, October 12th. Maintenance will begin at 12:00 AM PDT and conclude at approximately 12:00 PM PDT. During this time, all realms and many web services will be unavailable.
Thank you for your patience.
As always, this is an excellent time to do your own systems maintenance, update, scan, etc.
Please do note, these times are estimates and the realms may return a bit sooner....or later, than currently anticipated.
Also note the part about web services - that includes the forums so if you find things in maintenance that's expected. Also, since realms aren't available, that includes things like realm transfers, name changes, etc.
Tuesday recommended reading list.

Why the Downtime Every Tuesday?

No, but seriously—why Tuesday?

Also, here is a handy time conversation table for timezones.
As all maintenance schedules are provided in PDT, should you not live on the pacific coast, you will need to adjust this time accordingly. :)
Here's a quick table to reference:
- HST = PDT - 3 hours
MDT = PDT + 1 hour
CDT = PDT + 2 hours
EDT = PDT + 3 hours
ADT = PDT + 4 hours
Newfoundland = PDT + 4.5 hours
GMT = PDT + 7 hours
AEST = PDT + 17 hours
With new changes on the horizon, you may also want to review the current PTR patch notes and keep an eye out for more information as it's announced.
